***** YATTENDON in Berkshire
Yattendon is a village and civil parish, situated between Newbury and Reading close to the M4 motorway, in the English county of Berkshire.
It stretches from Everington in the west to the hamlet of Burnt Hill in the east and the woodland just east of Yattendon Court, including Mumgrove Copse, Bushy Copse, Clack's Copse and Gravelpit Copse.
Yattendon once had a fortified manor house or castle.
The M4 motorway has most of its southern boundary and some of the houses on the northern edge of Frilsham are actually in Yattendon. The River Pang flows through the west of the parish.

The Yatteton Estate consist of several smaller estates acquired by the first Lord Iliffe (1925-1940). In 1955, Yattendon Estate was formed to hold the land. farming has very important role here . It is a family owned estate known for being environmentally and socially responsible...
