Newbury in Berkshire is uniquely situated in the centre of Southern England, close to both the M3 and the M4 as well as the A34, A4 and A339. There is a main line rail station adjacent to the course with direct connections to London Paddington and the West Country. There are over 3,000 car parking spaces available on-site.
As well as racing, Newbury Racecourse is a superb venue for conferences and exhibitions of all sizes. The New Grandstand opened in November 2000, features several column-free exhibition spaces as well as conference rooms for up to 1,000 delegates.
Also within the venue, an 18 hole (par 71) golf course, with practice facilities and a twenty-bay floodlit driving range. A Cannon leisure centre with swimming pool and superb gymnasium, the Rocking Horse Nursery, which is open throughout the year as well as providing facilities on racedays.
The Dingley Group, a family and play therapy group for disabled babies and toddlers is now based at the Rocking Horse Nursery. It is a charity catering for children who are not supported by the local council.
